In summer, the kids won't want to miss downtown Frye's Old Town Shootout. It celebrates the Second Amendment in all its ten-gallon hat, buckskin-jacket glory, as good guys try to stop the bad guys from robbing a bank and end up in a faux showdown right in the center of town.
Red River is the perfect place for families and no time is this more obvious than during the annual 4th of July Parade & Celebration! The day begins at 10 a.m. with the largest parade in northern New Mexico, followed by a full day of family-friendly activities all over town.
