Adrenalin's activated, and you're racing 4,000 feet downhill on a mountain bike, passing swiftly through an alpine meadow. The trail rises up to meet you, and you think, “I can't wait to tell my friends about this.” You'll be ready for a more down-to-earth ride once you're no longer vertical. Cruising with the family around town or maybe on a riverside nature trail. Biking is a big part of being in Red River.

Take off from Main Street and you can head up Pioneer Canyon, Mallette Canyon and the Red River Nature Trail. More experienced riders can take the chairlift at Red River Ski Area and ride 4,000 vertical feet downhill on expertly maintained trails.

Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski Area has trails for all abilities, from friendly, rolling terrain to challenging single-track. From the Old Red River Pass to the Upper Red River Valley, riders can explore mountain trails that fall outside the Wheeler Peak Wilderness Area, like the challenging but beautiful Middle Fork Lake.
