Red River, like many New Mexico communities, is a haven to reconnect with family and friends while disconnecting from the hectic pace of the modern world. But due to the fluid situation caused by COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the uncertainty of the implications, nearly all our businesses are now closed, with only our grocery store, gas stations, a handful of restaurants (for take-out only) and one out-patient clinic open to the public.
For the safety and wellbeing of our residents, we ask for the foreseeable future that visitors, please postpone and reschedule your trip to Red River.
Our hearts say, "When you're here, you're local," but for the safety of all of us, please stay at home to be safe and healthy.
We will keep our website at RedRiver.org updated with any new information. We look forward to seeing you soon when our world returns to normal.
We love our visitors as "locals" here in Red River. We wish you, your family and our community all the best in the days ahead. We will welcome you back with open arms when the time is right. Please stay safe and be kind to one another.
