If you’ve ever wanted to spend a few days in the beautiful mountains of northern New Mexico, hanging out with some of your favorite songwriters, doing a little eating, drinking, and perhaps skiing….then this event is for you. Texas Red’s Red River Songwriters’ Festival was founded by Drew Kennedy, Josh Grider, Walt Wilkins, Susan Gibson, Brandy Zdan and Kelley Mickwee in 2012. Firstly, tickets to this event will be extremely limited. We want the people who choose to attend the festival to feel like they’ve really been able to get to know the talented artists who will be taking part…

Come celebrate Mardi Gras with us in the snow-capped mountains of red river. The unique blend of Mardi Gras and Red River traditions draws crowds from all over the country. Come experience something new with the burning of the tchoupitoulas, a spirit that removes your troubles and worries for the coming year. The grand ball is an event for everyone to dress up and celebrate a good time in the mountains. The Mardi Gras Main Street parade showcases local businesses and their holiday spirit. Attend one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in the Southwest with over 25,000 attendees rolling into downtown Red River for the Memorial Day weekend.
Over 150 of the most awesome classic, hot rod, and modern cars cruise into Red River for this exciting Car Show.

The annual Art & Wine Festival is presented by the Red River Chamber of Commerce every Father’s Day weekend (postponed to June 17-19, 2022) in Brandenburg Park.
Red River is the perfect place for families and no time is this more obvious than during the annual 4th of July Parade & Celebration!
Come celebrate the outdoors this summer in the Land of Enchantment with a weekend of challenging trail fun. The music festival formerly known as Larry Joe Taylor’s Hot Chili Days Cool Mountain Nights will continue-under a new name; Red River’s 8750′ Music & BBQ Festival-along with the Chili Appreciation Society International Cook-Off, the New Mexico Green Chile State Championship and the Lone Star BBQ Society Cook-Off and the guaranteed purse-now up to $10,000.
